1. Marketplace Overview
Hami Chhau operates as a local marketplace connecting consumers with registered Nepali merchants. Merchants can list products and submit bids on customer Requests for Quotations (RFQs).
2. Merchant Obligations & KYC
All merchants must submit authentic business documents (PAN/VAT, citizenship, and physical shop location) prior to approval. Misrepresentation of product quality, warranty, or counterfeit goods will result in immediate permanent suspension.
3. Reverse Bidding & Pricing
Bids submitted by merchants on customer RFQs represent binding commercial offers. Once an offer is awarded by the customer, the merchant is obligated to honor the bid price and promised delivery terms.
4. Buyer Protection & Inspection
Customers retain the right to inspect items upon Cash on Delivery (COD) arrival. If an item differs significantly from the agreed quotation or specifications, the customer may decline the delivery.
5. Account Termination & Deletion
Users and merchants may request self-service account deletion at any time via the Delete Account page. Requests are queued for a 7-day grace period.
